Phantom Blade Zero pre-orders opened in August 2026 with Standard and Digital Deluxe editions plus two rewards that remain obtainable in normal play.

Phantom Blade Zero pre-orders opened in August 2026 for PlayStation 5 and PC. S-GAME announced Standard and Digital Deluxe editions alongside an extended trailer focused on Soul, Mó Yuan, combat, and the dark wuxia setting of Phantom World.

This is a dated report on the pre-order opening. For current regional prices, platform links, edition comparisons, and launch timing, use our maintained release date and pre-order guide.

Pre-orders are now available

S-GAME’s announcement lists PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store as pre-order destinations. Phantom Blade Zero’s primary global release date is October 29, 2026, with October 28 shown in the United States and selected regional or platform listings.

Availability does not mean the game has launched, and a pre-order is not required to follow official updates or add the game to a wishlist. Players deciding whether to buy early should check the relevant storefront for local pricing, refund terms, and the exact release time shown for their region.

The studio has announced two digital editions:

  • Standard Edition, which includes the full game
  • Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the full game plus additional outfits, a digital artbook, and a digital soundtrack

This news article does not reproduce the full edition table because prices and storefront details are better maintained in the evergreen guide. The official site remains the primary source for the contents attached to each edition.

Treasure Basin and Legacy are early unlocks

Pre-ordering either announced edition grants early access to two items:

  • Treasure Basin, an accessory
  • Legacy, an outfit

S-GAME and PlayStation both state that these rewards can also be obtained through normal in-game progression. They are therefore early unlocks, not permanently exclusive pre-order content.

That distinction is useful for anyone concerned about missing playable content. The announcement does not attach an exclusive mission, story chapter, boss, or weapon to the standard pre-order offer. Players can wait for final reviews or performance testing without the official information suggesting that Treasure Basin or Legacy will become unobtainable.

The extended trailer introduces Mó Yuan

The pre-order announcement arrived with an extended trailer showing more of Soul’s journey through Phantom World. Its footage includes story scenes, combat, and the reveal of the man holding an infant: Mó Yuan, leader of the Bastion of Mó and Soul’s father.

Donnie Yen portrays Mó Yuan through facial and motion capture. S-GAME also identifies Yen as a Creative Consultant who has worked on the project since 2023 and contributed to its overall kung fu style and action design.

Those production details are explored in our Donnie Yen and Mó Yuan profile. The broader setup—Soul’s connection to The Order, his framing, and the 66-day premise—is covered in the story and Phantom World guide.

What this announcement does not settle

Opening pre-orders confirms the commercial editions and early-unlock rewards, but it does not answer every pre-release question. It does not establish final PC performance, review conclusions, a downloadable public demo, or the complete contents of any launch update.

PC players can compare their hardware with the official system requirements. Anyone waiting to try the combat should consult the demo availability page rather than assume that the event demo builds are publicly downloadable.
