FAQ

Can a GTX 1660 run Phantom Blade Zero?
It meets the official minimum GPU requirement. S-GAME targets 1080p at 30 FPS with upscaling enabled, paired with the listed minimum CPU, 16 GB RAM, and an SSD.
Does Phantom Blade Zero require an SSD?
Yes. S-GAME lists SSD installation as required for both minimum and recommended configurations.
How much storage space does the game need?
The PC installation is approximately 145 GB and requires an SSD. Have at least 300 GB of free space during preload and unlock. Once unlock completes, storage usage returns to approximately 145 GB.

What are the official PC requirements?

S-GAME published four performance tiers in August 2026: minimum, recommended, ray tracing recommended, and path tracing recommended. The base tiers list a complete CPU, memory, GPU, and rendering target; the ray-tracing tiers currently add GPU and resolution targets rather than replacing every base component.

These are S-GAME’s official performance targets, not independent benchmark results.

Ray tracing and path tracing targets

Ray tracing recommendedGeForce RTX 5060 8 GB1080p / 60 FPS with upscaling
Path tracing recommendedGeForce RTX 5080 16 GB2160p / 60 FPS with upscaling

S-GAME does not list AMD equivalents for these two advanced rendering targets on its requirements page. It also does not specify which upscaler mode or quality preset was used, so the table should not be read as a guarantee of native-resolution performance.

DLSS 4.5 and Path Tracing

NVIDIA’s October 20, 2026 GeForce Game Ready Driver adds support for Phantom Blade Zero. NVIDIA confirms DLSS 4.5 with Dynamic Multi Frame Generation on GeForce RTX GPUs, with DLSS Ray Reconstruction enhancing the game’s path-traced lighting and effects.

The NVIDIA driver announcement confirms these graphics features; it does not publish Phantom Blade Zero benchmarks.

Is 16 GB of RAM enough?

S-GAME lists 16 GB of RAM for both its minimum and recommended PC configurations.

Is an SSD mandatory?

Yes. Both minimum and recommended configurations require an SSD. The PC installation is approximately 145 GB. Have at least 300 GB of free space during preload and unlock; once the unlock process completes, storage usage returns to approximately 145 GB.

During unlock, temporary unpacking/cache files and the complete game files coexist. S-GAME’s October 25 preload notice adds these capacity figures to the SSD requirement. See the preload time and download-size guide for the schedule and storage checklist.

Can a GTX 1660 or RX 5500 XT run it?

Both cards appear in the minimum specification, targeting 1080p at 30 FPS with upscaling enabled. The recommended profile lists the RTX 3060 Ti or RX 6700 XT for 1440p at 60 FPS with upscaling, alongside the recommended CPU and 16 GB RAM.
